The Santa Lucia Preserve’s Gatehouse is three miles from Carmel-by-the-Sea, seven miles from Pebble Beach and just over 9 miles from the Monterey Peninsula Airport (MRY). Big Sur is just to the south and the San Francisco Bay Area just two hours to the north.

If you are navigating yourself to The Preserve using a GPS, please use the address 1 Rancho San Carlos Road, Carmel, CA 93923 or you may be sent on a more scenic route than desired. This address will lead you to our Gatehouse, where all guests are required to check in. You will be greeted by a host and provided with further directions to your destination within The Preserve along with required guest pass credentials to enter our private community.
